Terra is an independently licensed mental health practitioner with a strong educational foundation in behavioral health and psychology. She earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and went on to receive her Master’s degree in Social Work from Nebraska Wesleyan University, where she developed a focused passion for trauma-informed care.
Over the past five years, Terra has worked extensively in the nonprofit sector, supporting middle school students, families, and collaborating with over 75 community partners. Her work has centered on strengthening family systems, increasing access to resources, and addressing the complex needs of individuals navigating life challenges.
In addition to her nonprofit experience, Terra completed a six-month clinical placement at Children’s Hospital and Medical Center within the Oncology department. In this role, she provided emotional support and conducted assessments for patients and families facing depression, anxiety, and the traumatic impact of medical diagnoses and treatment.
Terra understands that beginning therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when clients are unsure of what to expect or feel pressure to already be “further along” in their journey. She approaches therapy with the belief that each individual’s experience is unique, and therefore requires a personalized and thoughtful approach.
She works collaboratively with clients to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs, goals, and life circumstances. Terra prioritizes creating a safe, welcoming, and comfortable environment where clients feel supported and empowered to engage in the therapeutic process.
With a strong emphasis on trust and connection, she values the therapeutic relationship as a key component of healing. Terra helps clients move through uncertainty and build confidence as they begin to experience meaningful growth and progress toward their goals.
Guided by the belief that while change is inevitable, growth is intentional, Terra supports clients in taking ownership of their healing journey.
